There are a number of electronic resources available for healthcare consumers (patients) to help make sense of research. Every Cochrane Review contains a plain language summary of the review's evidence. These summaries, along with translations into several lanugages, are available via the Cochrane Library on the main page for each specific review.  The Cochrane Patient and Public Network are continually working to involve healthcare consumers in the review process and evidence-based medicine in general.
