Iain is a data analyst and statistician working in the Margaret Turner Warwick Centre for Fibrosing Lung Disease. He has a background in functional genomics and stem cell studies, risk monitoring at secondary health services, epidemiology of lung cancer, as well as experience of large electronic healthcare data sources and multi-omic or biomarker data from clinical studies. His research is focussed on using advanced analytical models to understand the development and progression of fibrotic lung diseases, in order to improve patient and clinical outcomes. With regards to evidence synthesis, Iain has substantial experience in handling nested data in meta-analysis and multilevel mixed-effects models. He is a Statistical Editor at Thorax and a statistician with Cochrane CF.
